What happens during a massage?

Well to start with we take a private and confidential client history where I will be noting any ailments and issues that need to be addressed during the massage session. We then proceed to the treatment starting with you removing your clothing with your underwear on and modesty kept via the use of towels. These remain in place throughout the session and only removed when that area is being worked on. Women please note that bra straps may hinder the application of an effective massage and will be asked to be undone for the treatment of the back area. If this is going to effect your comfort and modesty please tell me prior to the massage and wear an old bra as the oil may stain the straps.

Please note that massage is provided as a therapeutic art and not a sexual service. Any sexually suggestive comments or advances will result in the session being terminated immediately.

During the treatment I will check you regularly, making sure the pressure is fine and you are not in any discomfort. Once completed I tend to leave you (but still in attendance) for a while, to regain your senses as this can take some time especially if Reiki is performed during session also. A deep sense of calm and relaxation will be achieved but may make you a little dizzy if you come out of that state too quickly.

Once you are fully back in the here and now, I then leave you alone to get changed back into your clothing.
